A Community Gym for Menzies!

Have your say!

The Shire of Menzies is considering the merits of providing a fully functional gymnasium for community use. Before committing funds or seeking grant funding, the Shire would like to know your opinion about this initiative.

Many other Local Governments have provided community gyms, and they are proving popular. For example, Shire of Pingelly and Shire of Boddington.

At this stage, a facility hasn’t been chosen, but some suggestions include:

  • Repurpose an existing building (for example, the youth centre) or
  • Purchase new a transportable for a vacant lot or
  • Perhaps someone in the community has some land and or a building they would like to sell or donate to the Shire!
