🏋️ Have Your Say on a New Community Gym! 🏋️
The Shire of Menzies is considering the merits of providing a fully functional gymnasium for community use.
Before we commit funds or seek grant funding, we want to know your opinion on this initiative.
Community gyms are proving popular in other regions, such as the Shire of Pingelly and Shire of Boddington, and we'd love to bring a similar facility to Menzies.
At this stage, no facility has been chosen, but some suggestions include:
- Repurposing an existing building (e.g., the youth centre)
- Purchasing a new transportable building for a vacant lot
- Or perhaps, someone in the community has land or a building they’d like to sell or donate to the Shire!
How to Complete the Survey: We’re keen to hear your view, so let us know what you think by making a submission.
Submissions close at 5pm, Monday 30 September—don’t delay!
- Online: Fill out the survey {here}.
- Hard Copies:
- Pick up a paper copy of the survey at the Shire of Menzies Administration Building or the Lady Shenton/CRC Building.
- Submit completed forms via email to ceo@menzies.wa.gov.au.
- Alternatively, you can hand in the completed form to Maureen at the Shire Administration Building.
