A Total Fire Ban has been declared for 4 September 2024 in the Shire of Menzies and will be in effect all day.
During this time, you must not:
🚫 Light, maintain, or use a fire in the open air
🚫 Carry out any activity that could start a fire
This includes:
- No open fires for cooking, camping, or outdoor entertainment, including fire pits and bonfires.
- No hot work like metal work, grinding, welding, or gas cutting in the open air unless business and industry regulations are met.
- No off-road activities with four-wheel drives, quad bikes, motorcycles, bobcats, or similar vehicles, except for agricultural purposes or if business and industry conditions are met.
